Wavelet Spectra of Scattered Radiation with Pulsed Driven System

The time-dependent spectra of scattered radiation from a pulsed-driven 2-level atomic system is examined through two window functions: the Morlet’s wavelet and the Mexican hat wavelet. The spectra are obtained analytically in terms of error function. Computer simulation of the transient spectra shows separation, narrowing and asymmetry (in some cases) of harmonic components.
