We investigated the photoluminescence (PL) properties of the excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) dye [SOX] embedded in rigid polymer [PMMA]. The PL spectra were obtained as a function of the sample temperature. For both microcavity structures that use ESIPT dye-containing polymer as emissive material, we observed the PL enhancement having a higher PL and a narrower line-width when compared with that of noncavity LED.
