Design of Novel Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) Inverters

Two novel QCA designs of inverters, with improved polarization and more robustness vis-à-vis their output signals, are proposed in this paper. In addition, the designs occupy smaller area and enjoy superior performance in respect of noise, circuit stability; power consumption. The functionality of the proposed designs is verified by QCADesigner where a detailed comparison with the previously reported designs confirms the reliable performance of the proposed designs.
