Theoretical and Experimental Study of CdO

In the present paper, we investigate theoretically and experimentally the structural and optical properties of cadmium oxide semiconductor. The reflectance and transmittance spectra in the [1.5 – 3.5]eV range of a thin CdO film prepared by spray pyrolysis has been carried out. The first principles full potential linearized augmented plane wave (FPLAPW) method has been utilized to complete the study.
