Programmable High-Value Positive/Negative Floating Resistor

This paper presents a new programmable electronically tunable high value positive/negative floating resistor. The programmable proposed positive/negative floating resistor is based on current conveyor analogue switches; hence the proposed circuit can be provided either a positive or a negative resistor and its function to be programmable by digital code. The high-value of resistor can be achieved by using the second-generation current-controlled conveyor with having current gain. The proposed programmable positive/negative resistor is verified by simulation with bipolar technology.
