Novel Approach for Dynamic Optimal Power Flow Using Nonlinear Network Flow Algorithm

This paper describes a novel approach for the Dynamic Optimal Power Flow problem (DOPF) using nonlinear network flow algorithm. The paper proposes a novel network flow model of DOPF and applies nonlinear network flow method to solve it. Transmission constraints are taken into consideration in the model. A Case study shows that the proposed model and algorithm are simple, general, fast and optimal.
