Design of a Miniaturized HTS Microstrip Resonator with Slotted Ground Plane

To realize miniaturization and high power handing capability simultaneously, slotted ground plane (SGP) for a HTS microstrip resonator design is presented in this paper. The equivalent circuit modeling for the proposed resonator is developed and its parameters are derived by means of field analysis. Also, the simulated experiment conforms the improved slow-wave factors and power handing capability of the proposed resonator with SGP.
