A High Input Impedance Universal Biquadratic Filter Using Grounded Capacitors and OTAs

A high input impedance voltage mode universal biquadratic filter with single input and single output is presented in this paper. The circuit employs five commercially available operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) and two grounded capacitors. The circuit realises the entire filter functions viz. low pass, high pass, band pass (amplifier), notch and all pass by selecting transconductances of OTAs. It offers high input impedance and is suitable for integrated circuit implementation.
