This paper experimentally describes the influence of the stenosis shape on the flow condition behind the end-to-side bypass connection by visualization and by measurement with PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) method. The influences of stenosis distance from anastomosis, stenosis placing and flow rate in host artery and graft on the flow field behind end-to-side bypass connection were evaluated from visualization in models. Data of flow field velocity distribution and other flow characteristics were obtained by the help of PIV method.
