Prediction of elastic deformation and elastic wave velocity of perovskite MgSiO3 with cubic structure at high pressure up to 140 GPa and high temperature up to 4000K from statistical moment method

Based on the structural and thermodynamic theory of cubic perovskite built on the SMM published in previous works, we construct the theory of elastic deformation and elastic wave velocity of cubic perovskite. We apply the obtained theory to numerical calculations for MgSiO3 at extreme conditions of temperature up to 4000K and pressure up to 140 GPa. The SMM calculation results for MgSiO3 are consistent with the current calculation and experimental results for CaSiO3. Our results are predictive of the thermodynamic properties of MgSiO3 in the context of scarce data on this material.
