Determining coefficients of equations of state from velocity of sound data

It is the purpose of this paper to determine the constants of some equations of state and then thermodynamic properties of some selected gases from speed of sound data. Results are presented for estimation of density, enthalpy, entropy; and heat capacity of argon (Ar), methane (CH4), and carbon dioxide (CO2), in vapor phase. Results are compared with those obtained from equations of state with constants determined from critical conditions and also with literature data.
