Equation for the second virial coefficient
Alexander B Kaplun, Arkadiy B Meshalkin
A new function for the description of the second virial coefficient of various substances is proposed. This function has allowed the description of the experimental data on the second virial coefficient of noble gases, hydrogen, propane, methane, ethylene, ethane, ammonia, carbon dioxide, mercury, and water within the experimental error over the investigated temperature interval. For some substances, one of the parameters is taken to be equal to the critical temperature.
