The thermophysical properties of plant fibres and leaf fibres of pineapple (A), sisal (B), dagger (C), seed fibre of betelnut (D), and bark fibre of lady’s finger (E), readily available in the northeastern region of India, have been investigated by thermogravimetry (TG) and derivative thermogravimetry (DTG) in air, oxygen, and nitrogen atmospheres in the temperature range 302 – 763 K.
