Boobalan. J, Malleswaran. M and Muthupriya. V
Energy consumption and efficient energy utilization is a prime issue to be addressed in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Network Lifetime (NL) maximization is required to utilize the available energy to maintain a fully operational network. In this paper, a novel “Energy Supplement Adhoc On demand Multipath Distance Vector (ES-AOMDV)” routing protocol is developed to effectively utilize the energy present in the neighbor nodes. The energy of the nodes to be extended for flawless operation of battery constrained WSNs for the longest time period possible. The Proposed ES-AOMDV routing protocol overcomes the node failure problem by adopting Weighted Salp Swarm Algorithm (WSSA) based node localization. The energy supplement via wireless energy transfer techniques (WET) is developed for efficient and effective packet transmission. The intensive simulation results show that the proposed routing protocol outperforms the FF-AOMDV and MOFF-RNP.
