Introduction to the Special Issue on Models, Simulations and Learning in Complex Domains
J. Michael Spector
This introduction to the special issue on Models, Simulations and Learning in Complex Domains provides a brief overview of the six contributions. In addition, there is a discussion about the nature and scope of models and simulations as applied to learning in complex problem-solving domains. This topic is particularly notable in that it brings together the four strands that form the basis for this journal: technology, instruction, cognition and learning.
