Rigorous Results on Nonautonomous Chaotic Diode Resonator Circuit

A nonautonomous series diode chaotic circuit is presented. The diode is modelled by two nonlinear capacitors and a nonlinear resistor. Orcad Pspice is used to simulate the circuit and to show the presence of chaos. Time domin solutions, frequency spectrum and phase portraits are obtained by varying various parameters of the circuit and are depicted. The introduction permits the under graduate student to understand the subject of nonlinearity and chaos at an introductory level.
