Current Mode Four Phase Quadrature Oscillator Using CCIIs

A simple technique is presented to realize a current-mode four phase quadrature oscillator using CCII. The technique basically uses a CCII based non-inverting current-mode band-pass filter for the realization of the oscillator. The realized oscillator enjoys attractive features such as use of grounded capacitors, independent frequency control, equal magnitudes and low sensitivity figures. The realized multiphase current mode oscillator circuit is designed and verified with attractive results.
