A four input analog odd-even merge-sort network using resistive switching cells is simulated. Hopes are for such networks to be small in size, energy efficient and fast. In the simulations input potentials are sorted by silver iodide electrochemical metallization memory cells, as these cells are well suited for this application. Here we demonstrate that an analog sorting network with resistive switching cells is theoretically possible and evaluate preconditions for correct sorting.
