Bio-inspired Computation: Theory and Applications
Zhihua Cui and Renbin Xiao
Bio-inspired computation is an active area of computer science, which tries to mimic some characteristics of biological systems in nature by computer simulation so as to solve many problems such as optimization and classification. This special issue contains six papers that are dedicated to the latest developments in the theory and applications in bio-inspired computation. These studies may provide inspiration for readers of Journal of Multiple-Valued Logic and Soft Computing to carry out more research in this active area.
